Geoffrey Gentry, PT, OCS Owner
Geoff has been practicing Physical Therapy since 1997, and has been board certified in Orthopedic Physical Therapy since 2002. He earned his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois and had his professional training at the Hogeschool Enschede in the Netherlands. Geoff describes this overseas education as academically excellent as well personally enriching. Living in another country and experiencing its culture has given him the insight to treat his patients with empathy.
Geoff has a loving wife and two beautiful daughters at home; he enjoys spending time with his family and leading an active lifestyle. This lifestyle includes activities that range from hiking to competing in triathlons.
Geoff’s treatment philosophy is manually based – “The focus of my professional education in the Netherlands was hands-on manual therapy. We begin treating patients at the tissue level by controlling inflammation and pain. The next step is to regain tissue and joint mobility/flexibility and finally to train strength and function.
